There are several camps that we recommend our kids attend. Please plan these in your summer plans:
LISD Band Camp- East Zone www.lisdbandcamp.blogspot.com .
Join your band buddies from all the middle schools in the Hebron and The Colony clusters! At this camp, we play FUN MUSIC and give a concert at the end of the week. Enjoy the world-famous popsicle breaks! Thursday night we go to Main Event! Camp t-shirt is included. Contact Mrs. Cooley or Mr. Levine for any questions you might have.

Two Week Camp
West Texas A&M University- Canyon, TX
Join your buddies at an overnight camp and stay in college dorms. At this camp, the kids will play in bands, perform 3 different concerts and be able to choose from a variety of electives. Electives can include instrument ensembles (trumpet ens, flute ens, etc...), reed making for double reeds, jazz band, music theory, and more. The kids also have opportunities to go see the outdoor musical "TEXAS", go to Wonderland Amusement Park and make lots of friends throughout the state of Texas. Other activities include recreational activities at the Virgil Henson Activities Center include bowling, racquetball, swimming and lazy river, pool and ping-pong. Dances, bingo and games are planned nightly.Canyon, TX is located about 20 minutes south of Amarillo.

Lonestar Clarinet Camp
CampEnrollment is open to all clarinet and bass clarinet players entering grades 7th, 8th and 9th. Perform in a clarinet choir, learn how to adjust your reeds, benefit from sessions on topics that will make you a better clarinetist and enjoy a masterclass with a renowned guest artist!
